Quality planning and control comprises the concepts and approach of a new notion of quality that seeks to maximize customer satisfaction. Work in this area is not of interest to industrial engineers only, but also to other engineering disciplines as well as to students in industrial design, management and statistics. The Quality Planning and Control minor program aims to contribute to the training of personnel who can improve and enhance quality in all phases of production such as in planning, research and design, manufacturing, distribution or customer relations.
