Short Bio:
Murat Köksalan is a professor and the chairman of the IE Department of METU. He has been affiliated with METU since 1979. He held visiting professor positions at SUNY at Buffalo and Purdue University in the USA and Aalto University in Finland at different occasions for about seven years. The Gold Medal of the International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making, Parlar Foundation Science Award, TÜBİTAK Incentive Award, and the first prize in four INFORMS Case Competitions are among the awards he received.
