Abstract
Technology advancements and global political environment make future look more uncertain than ever. How we work and how we learn are already changing. In this conversation, Hurol Inan will share his observations about some of these early changes with specific discussions on the importance of diversity, the role of start-ups, and the education system. Hurol holds directorships at Centre for New Workforce, Swinburne University and Engineering Futures Committee and Board of Engineers Australia.

Short Bio
Hurol is a digital transformation consultant and currently occupies multiple roles including the board director of Engineers Australia and advisory board member of the Centre for New Workforce at Swinburne University.

Hurol has completed a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering in Turkey and a master’s of science degree in England. During his nearly 30 years of professional experience in Australia, he has worked across industries including retail, insurance, financial services, travel and government. During this time, he has also gained overseas experience in the USA and South Korea.

In earlier parts of his career, Hurol worked for two major consultancies, Accenture and Deloitte, and then founded a specialist digital marketing and technology consulting business called Bienalto which was acquired by WPP’s Wunderman in 2012.

Hurol is passionate about education, health and wellness, and diversity and inclusion. During his speech he will touch on these subjects as well as sharing his experience in starting up, managing and selling his own consultancy.
